NAS with a short depth for rack mounting
This is a small business powerhouse. This would be the upper level to the RS422+. I'd put this into a location that needs multiple services. E.g., NVR for some PoE cameras, workstation backup, and running services like RADIUS/SAMBA or web hosting. The downside of the Synology gear, is that it is not cheap.
I have this setup at one of the office locations, and the other remote site has a RS422+ that backs up to thisRS 1221+.
