As I mentioned in another review, when they don't specifically name the drink after a known thing, it makes me wonder if they couldn't get the flavor right. For example, this is "tropical." Is it like a Pina Colada or a Daiquiri? And what tropics are we talking about? From Brazil to the Congo to Fiji, that's a lot of different places. Anyway, enough complaining about naming.
With all that said, I did like this flavor. I got a definite pineapple flavoring, but the rest is a little too subtle to pinpoint. Perhaps some lime and coconut? Trying to find which fruits from the Redbull website, I found this line "...taste of tropical fruits..." (https://www.redbull.com/us-en/energydrink/products/red-bull-yellow-edition), with an asterisk saying that it is artificially flavored.
This review might come off as a little critical, but honestly, this is one of my top five favorite Red Bull flavors.
